My Favorite Things... Classroom Edition Linky (& Giveaway)!!!

Can you believe I am hosting my very first linky?  I'm so excited, I can hardly contain my enthusiasm.  Okay, just Lola Grace (my dog) is looking at me all weird-like.

I was shopping in the back-to-school section last week, and it dawned on me that I have my very favorite go-to items that I HAVE TO purchase EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL YEAR!  So, I thought it would be fun to host a linky party for everyone to share their favorite things!!!  I often get in the "know" about things I need from other bloggers, so this should be fun!

The best part about this linky is I'm kicking it off with a give-away!!!  So, continue reading, sign-up for the give-away, and link away!  I can't wait to read all of your favorite things!  (Don't forget to grab the button!) - Paper Mate Flair Pens
Paper Mate Flair Pens - These are my absolute classroom favorite thing!  I have this thing about trying out new pens.  I love felt-tip pens!  I used to use the Sharpie Pens, but found that the tip was too fine for my liking.  Then I found these!  They are perfect for adding some color & pop to interactive ntoebooks, and just as perfect for grading papers in another color besides the elusive red pen.  I am so in love with these pens that I convinced our principal to purchase a pack for every teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week 2 years ago!  The teachers loved them, and now they become a part of gifts somehow (i.e., last year, we purchased a green and red colored pen for everyone as part of our 12 Days of Christmas gift extravaganza)! - M&D Easel Pad

Melissa & Doug Easel Pad - I learned about these a few years ago from another Literacy Coach, Julie Ballew.  Many of her teachers create beautiful anchor charts, and she posts pictures on her website and blog.  I visited her school a couple of times, and asked about the paper because it was smaller than normal chart paper.  She told me that it was these easel pads, and I purchased some instantly!  And...  I fell in love!  They aren't too big, and aren't too small - they are JUST RIGHT! - Mr. Sketch Scented Markers

Mr. Sketch Scented Markers - Who doesn't love scented markers?  Well, that one marker that my teamie and I found that smelled AWFUL - too bad I can't remember what it was called!  It must have been that bad that I had to remove it from my memory!  These markers on the other hand smell lovely, but are my favorite because they are bright and vivid on my anchor charts.  I typically create a new or add to an anchor chart every day, and these last all of those days!  However, beware - every time I open the lid of any color, I typically have to smell it!  (Funny story - my students always fought over who got to pick the colors.  Their favorite part - opening and smelling the scent too!)

Well, those are my absolute favorite things!  I'm sure there are more things that could be on the list, but these 3 things are purchased EVERY YEAR, no matter what my role is!  I hope you link up, and join in the fun (I've include 2 more numbers below just in case you have more than 3)!  Who knows, you might even find a new favorite thing or two!!!

The best part about kicking off this linky party???  A give-away!  I'm giving away a set of my favorite things!!!  Link up and enter to win!!!
