Monday Made-It!

It may be week #6 of Monday Made-It with 4th Grade Frolics, but this is my first week!  Let's just say that summer got a little in the way!

My first Monday Made-It is this super-duper cute desktop background!  Thanks to Charity at The Organized Classroom, I was able to design my very own.  I usually use photoshop for these type of things (and I may go back and create a new one), but it turned out cute using powerpoint.  Once I added it to my desktop, I created shortcuts to the documents that I am working on.  Then, I used the "sticky notes" app on my computer to create a couple of lists for different areas.  I had printed out some blog planner pages, but I think I like this better.

The next thing I made was this cute award certificate my principal wanted.  I have to admit that she created one, but I couldn't resist adding a little "pizazz" to it!  Here is the original (and I give my principal an "A+" for effort)!

Now for the updated version!  I did tell her I couldn't resist!!!  We will send these to our district printing office to print and cut.  She puts them out at the faculty meetings to allow teachers to write an award for a student that has done something or exhibited exceptional work.  Then, she announces them and they get a high-five by her (with a pencil, I think).  And, as if you couldn't tell, our school-wide theme this next year is 60s/Groovin'!  It is starting to grow on me, but I don't think my classroom will be "groovin'"!

The groovy kid is from the Maggie's Deluxe Hippie Bundle by Nikki at Melonheadz.  The background is from the Rainbow Pop Kit by Red Pepper.  The font is BellBottom.Laser.  The frame is from the Frames Tags Borders Kit by Tracee Orman.

Well that's all for Monday Made-It!  Perhaps I will have more stuff made by next Monday.  According to my desktop organizer, I should have plenty of stuff made!  But today is my birthday, and that means that I don't have to force myself to do anything! LOL!

I hope everyone has an awesome day today!
